The existing decades-old structure suffered from a leaking flat roof, and dimly lit, dank bathroom and changing areas.

The solution was to retrofit the leaking flat roof with a new sloped roof, solving the drainage problems while also enhancing the visual appearance of the building. The interior spaces were gutted and rebuilt to provide better floor drainage, lighting and ventilation, in addition to addressing building code and accessibility issues.

The interior improvements were constructed by Clockwork Builders of Sykesville, MD.

The images depict a rendering of the proposed exterior renovation, and renderings of the new bathroom interiors.
