The existing corporate offices for this manufacturing company were squeezed into a corner of an industrial structure on the grounds of their plant. The client wished to have a dedicated office facility constructed on the property to meet their growing administrative needs, and to give the employees a more organized, more efficient (and quiet!) place to work. The corporate image a company projects is often reflected in the architecture of its headquarters, and this client realized it was time to have a building that conveyed a more upscale image to their clientele.
Working in a consulting capacity with the prime architect, I developed the construction documents for this facility from the initial conceptual drawings provided by him. The scope of work included meeting with the owner to fine tune the programmatic requirements, and also to meet with local building officials to address their concerns as well. The new single-story brick and stucco structure boasts a spacious lobby with ample fenestration, private offices and meeting rooms, a high-ceilinged, open-office area for administrative personnel, and a CEO suite.
At the present time, images of this project are not available.
